Ancestral tradition

Self-massage, also known as "Do-In", is an ancestral technique from traditional Japanese medicine. It is very similar toShiatsu in its application of pressure, friction and percussion.

This self-massage technique can be practiced anywhere, and can be adapted to morning needs (to energize) or evening needs (to soothe and relax).

AlterMassage offers it to companies as a complement or alternative to massage sessions.

Course of the workshop

The workshop begins with abody awakening: self-massage of the face and head, and movement of the whole body. The facilitator then introduces participants tomovements ( smoothing, pressure, percussion, friction, balancing) and their effects on the body.

They experiment with different sequences, building up atoolbox that can be adapted to the needs of professional life: coping with stress, getting out of a state of panic, regaining concentration.
